Different laws, different values, different context.

I recently listened to a talk about tips for taking the board exam and one thing the speaker advised was the Shamcey Supsup manila-paper-on-the-wall-and-ceiling sort of advice and I totally agree with that. I sort of did that when I studied, sort of because unlike the others who were staying in condo units with friends, I opted to settle for being a bedspacer in order to lessen the expenses. So, one of the obvious disadvantages of that was I didn’t have the freedom to do whatever I wanted in the room considering I had to share it with four other people, aka strangers, which is why I could only post a few things near my bed and my study table, but mostly I had to look for other ways to memorize my notes.

Perhaps, that’s why I overdid my AUSAT reviewer – it’s just a compilation of photocopies of someone else’s notes that my friend and I got in the Copylandia branch beside UST. So, if you’re just like me and can’t put up manila paper reviewers on your walls, or even if you’re just curious about what I did and/or want more of the earlier printables, watch out for the next upcoming posts.

I have shared a few photos of that reviewer in here and as you can see, I was quite a fan of the read, highlight, rewrite, enlarge, quiz yourself mania, and if there’s something that speaker and I could both agree on, it’s that with all those extra steps, you will surely end up being familiar with the materials.

So now, let’s start with this. It’s one thing to able to memorize but when you’re faced with tricky choices, it’s important to be able to differentiate. AND this is especially true in Building Laws where the minimum standards for stairs, for example, could be different per law, per building status (existing/proposed), etc.

Those are snippets of my BP 220 and PD 957 readings and obviously, I love translating all the numbers into images I can easily understand and remember and now I'm sharing them with you, not as this crammed and drawn thing here but as an infographic/printable bundle you can download here

Happy studying!
